Independent reading is an important part of a child’s education, so important, in fact, that it is part of the Oklahoma State Standards for students to be reading independently with books that they enjoy. It’s important that students are able to select books that interest them so that they will be motivated to practice reading every day. Students can do just that at the Bison Reading Site: https://hwyers.wixsite.com/bisonreading/reading
